FW: Harris Shoals Clean-up

Also love to help clean up Harris Shoals Park.

Woven brightly,
Daniel J. Matthews, Jr.

Dear Dan:

The City will sponsor and conduct a clean up and streamwalk in Harris Shoals Park on Saturday, April 26.  We will begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude no later than 11:30 am.

The clean up will involve removing litter from Harris Shoals Park to include the trails, the children's play area, the flower beds, baseball diamond and Calls Creek.

The flowerbeds will be cleaned and mulch added.  We will remove driftwood and litter from Calls Creek.

All trash will be collected in trash bags provided at the park.  Mulch is available at the park (anyone desiring to take mulch home, bring your truck and load as much as you want).

Driftwood, branches, limbs, etc will be piled in a designated area and mulched by the Street Department the following Monday.

Bring gloves and any favorite tools.  Select where you desire to help in the park and leave when you desire but no later than 11:30 a.m.

We will have coffee and water for you.

Thank you,

Jim Luken
