__._,_.___Dear fellow Oconee Dems:
Don't forget about our Oconee County Democratic Party caucus this Saturday, June 14, at 11:00 am at the Oconee County Courthouse (Commissioners' Chambers on main floor). The purpose is to elect all 18 members of our county committee, based on the new district/post alignment (see below) which we adopted to conform to the new voting precincts.
Participation in the caucus and candidacy for the posts is open to any resident/registered voter in Oconee County who believes in the principles of the Democratic Party, is not a member of any other political party, and who either voted in the most recent Democratic primary and/or is an active, dues-paying member of the Oconee County Democrats.
If you're interested in running for one of the committee posts, your presence at the caucus is strongly encouraged. However, if you are interested and are unable to attend, you are required to notify me in advance of your interest (and let me know in which voting precinct you're registered). Since all committee posts have been revised and are up for election, current members of the committee must run again for the committee.
Please encourage your neighbors and friends who are Democrats in Oconee County to come participate and run for the committee. We need active members and new faces.
