3. Thursday, June 19
Senatorial Forum
Georgia Center for Continuing Education
7-9 p.m.
A Senatorial Forum will be held on Thursday, June 19, from 7 to 9 PM in Master's Hall of the Georgia Center for Continuing Education. Four candidates have confirmed their participation – Jim Martin, Dale Caldwell, Rand Knight, and Joshua Lanier. (Vernon Jones has not responded.)
Mary Kay Mitchell, news director of WUGA, will moderating the event.
The event will not be aired live but will be aired on WUGA on Wednesday, June 25 between 2 and 4 PM.
4. Saturday, June 21
Booth at AthFest
Democrats from Clarke, Madison, and Oconee County will staff an information booth at the AthFest 2008 music festival in downtown Athens. The booth will be open from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 21st. Campaign literature, political buttons and bumper-stickers will be available, and area and state candidates will be present. Information about upcoming events and meeting schedules as well as how to get more involved in each county's Democratic efforts will also be available. Festival attendees will be able to register to vote at a separate AthFest booth staffed by volunteers trained to impartially register Georgia citizens.
5. Saturday, June 21
Booth at Classic City Spring Festival

6. Thursday, June 26
CCDC monthly meeting
CCDC Headquarters (not the Clarke County Courthouse), 220 Prince Avenue
