Hello!

We had a wonderful discussion of Senator McCain's autobiography last
month led by Dr. Sarah Bell.

Would you help us get out the word for the next discussion?

Thank you!

-----------------------
The second part of the McCain v. Obama Book Challenge will take place
Thursday, October 16th, at Five Points Deli on Epps Bridge Parkway at 6
PM, with the public invited to discuss Senator Barack Obama's
autobiography, "The Audacity of Hope." Last month members of the public
talked about Senator John McCain's book, "Worth the Fighting For." The
moderator for both conversations is Dr. Sarah Bell, adjunct professor of
English at Gainesville State College in Oconee and former chair of the
Oconee Republican Party. Come early to order dinner or coffee before
the discussion gets underway. The conversations about the books and
ideas of both men are sponsored by the Oconee County Democrats' book
group, which meets the Third Thursday of each month to discuss politics
and history. In November, they will be discussing "The Great Gatsby."
For more information, contact Pat Priest at ppriest@charter.net.

If space permits, could you please add:

Discussions of Obama's book will take place in Athens, too, on October
19th, a Sunday, at 7 PM at Ciné at 234 W. Hancock Ave. These will be
moderated by Sasha Baker, a social studies Teacher of Excellence at
Clarke Middle School.

Thank you!
