Dear Friends,
 
We are in the final days of a critical battle in Georgia's 10th Congressional district and my friend, Bobby Saxon, has a great opportunity to win this seat.  We need his bipartisan leadership in Congress and I have pledged my full support in these final days to propel Bobby to victory.  Will you help me by donating to Bobby today?
 
Bobby is a true patriot, a veteran, a small business owner, and a leader who I know will stand up for the people of the 10th District. We must help a man of character like Bobby get to Congress.  
 
We have a clear choice in this election. On the one hand, we have Bobby Saxon.  Bobby put his life on hold after September 11, 2001 to go fight for his country. Bobby is a man that doesn't shy away from danger or a challenge.  He is the kind of man that we need in Congress.  The kind that will fight for people's rights, stand up for the voiceless, and go toe to toe with those that want to destroy our country.
 
On the other hand, we have Paul Broun, Jr., an extremist congressman who has voted against veterans three times in the last 15 months.  In yesterdays endorsement of Bobby by the Athens Banner-Herald they said of Broun, "Broun failed, and failed miserably".  We do not need a man like this in Congress. We need a patriot like Bobby Saxon.
 
Please, donate to Bobby today, and help send a message that Georgia's 10th District will no longer tolerate the divisive politics of Paul Broun, Jr.

THis has next to nothing to do with Oconee County with the possible exception of the location of his former office, but a former colleague of mine on the radio got popped today for four counts. James Whipple of Bogart bonded out on child porn, pot, and possession of a firearm during commission of crime charges

Sheriff Scott Berry announces the arrest of Ian James Whipple (23) of Jefferson Avenue in Bogart on one count of Computer Pornography (child pornography), one count of Violation of Georgia Controlled Substances Act, and one count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. Bond was set by the court at $50,000. Whipple has bonded out of jail. The arrest st ems from an investigation that began when the OCSO received information from the Athens Clarke County Police leading to the obtaining of a search warrant for Whipple's residence and computers. That warrant was executed on July 1st. Upon entering the residence, it was discovered that Whipple also was cultivating marijuana plants. Whipple was not at the residence at the time the warrant was executed. He was arrested on July 3rd when he was located by OCSO deputies.
