New Attack Ad: Saxby's Special Interests

Take Back Georgia, Inc.
Saxby Shameless Update
Dear Friends,

We are less than 30 days away from Election Day!   Latest polls show Jim Martin gaining on Saxby Shameless, but more importantly, they show that Saxby continues to drop in the polls.  As you read this email, our "Pain at the Pump" radio ad is on the airwaves across the state thanks to your support.  Those radio ads will run through this Friday, October 10, and we need to raise enough money to air our newest ad by Monday, October 13 to make sure we do not lose any momentum!

But, we're not done - our fight to send Saxby home for good is heating up.

And we are very excited to release our newest ad and to share that with you today.   We are stepping up our accountability on Saxby Shameless to make sure every voter, whether they are Democrat, Republican, Independent or simply undecided, understand that we simply cannot afford six more years of Saxby Shameless.

But listening to our new ads won't be enough - we know Saxby will shamelessly spend millions of dollars attacking our ideals, our vision, and our desire for a new direction.  We need your help again, and any contribution you could make to help put these on the air and keep the pressure on this race.  Then, forward this email to everyone you know and ask them to contribute on ActBlue as well.

Saxby Shameless failed to stand for Georgia Working families, instead standing up for special interests

imperial explosion nbc augustaAs you can see from the picture, Georgia needed leadership from our Senator when one of the worst industrial accidents occurred killing 13 workers and injuring 40 other Georgians.  Instead, Saxby shamelessly attacked the whistleblower and defended the special interests of the agrobusiness - this time Imperial Sugar.  Oh, did we mention, they had made a campaign contribution just a few weeks before the Congressional hearing.

We were proud to officially release this new ad publicly on the Kudzu Vine radio show hosted by David McLaughlin, Catherine Smith, and Tim Shiftlett - all wonderful progressive activists and key players in our state politics.  Listen to last night's show here (Take Back Georgia's segment is at the 25 minute marker, about halfway through the show).
Thank you for all your past support, you have always been there when we needed you.  Please continue to spread this to all of your friends, coworkers, neighbors, and even those Republicans you know.  We will win on November 4th.

For a better Georgia,

Michael Cantone  &  Beth Hand

P.S.   Use the "Forward Email" link below for an easy way to forward to your friends.  And don't forget, even a contribution of $10, $25, $50 or even $250 will go a long way to spread our message!
