Saxby Shameless Update
- RUNOFF DECEMBER 2 -
Dear Friends,McCain Shameless

Saxby Shameless is scared of this runoff.  We already knew that.

But, even he knows his war chest of special interest money can't save him in this runoff.  He's even having all is old "friends" come to help, including John McCain this Thursday (details of the event below).

Right before the general election, we released the radio ad "Even John McCain Agrees..." which highlighted one of John McCain's comments about Saxby Chambliss following his election to the US Senate.  Thanks to your support, we aired this ad up until November 3 and since John McCain is coming to Georgia to stand beside Saxby Shameless, we felt like we should circulate this ad as much as we can again.

The truth is this visit represents everything that is wrong with politics.  It shows the true partisanship and the politically divisive tactics the far-right uses.  We need change in Georgia and on December 2, we can deliver that by firing Saxby Chambliss.

Their only goal is to send Saxby back to Washington to block President-elect Barack Obama's and the Democratic majority's attempts to improve the quality of life of all americans.

We need a Senator who will fight for the middle-class.  A senator that can work with President-elect Obama and the Democratic majority to deliver change for the hard-working middle-class families across the state.

A Senator like Jim Martin.

Spread this message right now and remind Georgians how John McCain really feels about Saxby Shameless and reject this attempt to stall the change we all fought for this past election.

On December 2, let's finish the job we started and fire Saxby Shameless!

Details on McCain's Shameless Event & Ways to Help NOW:
The event is a victory rally for Saxby's runoff election, with all of Georgia's elected Republican leadership joining John McCain.  Here is a chance to show them all that change is coming to Georgia!  Most of the host committee will be candidates fighting to lead Georgia in the 2010 elections and this runoff represents the momentum wave we can carry into the next cycle!

Victory Rally featuring Special Guest Senator John McCain
Thursday, November 13, 2008
4:30PM-5:30PM
Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center
Kessel D. Stelling, Jr. Ballroom
2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway Atlanta, Georgia 30339

If you plan on being visible for Jim Martin, or just plain against Saxby, please let us know about it!  Here are a few other quick ways to help out right now:

1.  Contribute now to help us continue to spread the message of change.  We are in final production of a runoff ad to be aired around the state and released shortly.  But we exhausted all of resources prior to the general election.  $100, $50, $25 or even $10 goes a long way, as 100% of your contribution goes directly towards our ad buys!

2.  Get Involved NOW!  The runoff is fast approaching, so if you're interested in getting involved and helping, volunteers are going to be needed for phone banking, canvassing, visibility and everything in between!  Visit Jim Martin's website and give him your time, any time, as every minute will go a long way with very low turnout.  Also, let us know and keep us updated on what you're doing over the next few weeks by replying to this email!

And finally, spread this email!  We couldn't have come so far without all of you and your support.  Over the next few weeks, we will continue to change Georgia!

For a better Georgia,
