Oconee goes to Greene County for MLK Day Service project

Well worth your participation. There may indeed be something in North High Shoals as well. Steve?

Hey, remember me from the campaign? Well, Felton Hudson and I have answered the call from Barack Obama to organize a service project on the MLK Holiday, Jan 19th. Since this is also the day before Inauguration, the activity can also serve to rally us together to begin our celebration of Barack Obama becoming President of the USA.

The service project will involve removing debris from a ravine in the Maple Circle Community in Greensboro.  To see a photo of the project site, follow this link: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=131+Maple+Circle+Greensboro+GA+US+30642&ie=UTF8&ll=33.586863,-83.188412&spn=0,359.981761&z=16&g=131+Maple+Circle+Greensboro+GA+US+30642&iwloc=addr&layer=c&cbll=33.581618,-83.193548&panoid=2cnkUNG0A1f0tFobK8Ae-A&cbp=12,344.0479106431647,,0,5

I hope you can make it.  Please pass this information along to anyone who might be interested.

Thanks,Carl
