The price of the breakfast is $12. Checks need to be made to C.C.D.C.  All of this goes to Trumps for the price of the meal and we have to give them a guaranteed number; therefore, if you make a reservation and are not able to attend, we must charge you for the breakfast.  If you would like to hear the program, but cannot come to the breakfast, there will be a few extra chairs available.

Jeff Dantzler's arrests may be the best thing that ever happened to him

THis has next to nothing to do with Oconee County with the possible exception of the location of his former office, but a former colleague of mine on the radio got popped today for four counts. James Whipple of Bogart bonded out on child porn, pot, and possession of a firearm during commission of crime charges

The booking photo is not to be placed on any web page that charges a fee for booking photo removal. Sheriff Scott Berry announces the arrest of Ian James Whipple (23) of Jefferson Avenue in Bogart on one count of Computer Pornography (child pornography), one count of Violation of Georgia Controlled Substances Act, and one count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. Bond was set by the court at $50,000. Whipple has bonded out of jail. The arrest st ems from an investigation that began when the OCSO received information from the Athens Clarke County Police leading to the obtaining of a search warrant for Whipple's residence and computers. That warrant was executed on July 1st. Upon entering the residence, it was discovered that Whipple also was cultivating marijuana plants. Whipple was not at the residence at the time the warrant was executed. He was arrested on July 3rd when he was located by OCSO deputies.
