6th Annual Hawaii Dawg-O Luau at Ashford Manor B&B August 1

Watkinsville's beautiful jewel of a bed and breakfast Ashford Manor will once again play a gracious hosting role for a wonderful fundraiser for the G.R.A.C.E. Fund with the sixth annual Hawaii Dawg-O 6:30 p.m. Saturday, August 1, hosted by Dean Sheila Allen of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medic and University of Georgia and NFL Hall of Fame football player Charley Trippi will also help raise funds for a new scholarship to a deserving Vet Med student in 2009. Also members of the 1980 National Championship football team will be in attendance.

You are advised to call and reserve your tickets now by ringing up Dr. Flynn Nace at 770-483-7225. $100.00 per couple, $300.00 for a table of four, and $500 for a table of eight. Tickets must be purchase before Friday, July 24 2009. Master card and Visa orders can be emailed to Teresa Bish at sicemdawgs1980@att.net

This year's event will also include a Raffle . Tickets are $20 each, or 3 for $50. First prize is a Large Big Green Egg Smoker with stand. Second prize is Two Tickets to Georgia – Florida football game in Jacksonville. You do not have to be present to win.

There will be more than celebrity hosts, including live entertainment, open bar, full Hawaiian buffet, live auction and dancing on the lovely terraced grounds of Ashford Manor Bed and Breakfast.

Ashford Manor's Jim Shearon died October 1, 2009 but his vision of caring for animals lives on with this group and so many more. Grace's birthday party will be Sunday, September 20th this year.
