Attention Soccer Parents:
Tonight we kick off the fall 2009 game schedule.
As games begin it is important  to remember the Inclement Weather Hotline.  OCPRD updates this Hotline first even before coaches are notified of a game or activity cancelations.   Please call the Inclement Weather Hotline at: 706-769-2965. If you  happen to forget the number then  tune into  AM 1610 . Oconee  County streams emergency information on this station and includes our Inclement Weather Hotline  # .
On the game schedule  teams may  see that games  are played  on various fields or at a separate OCPRD  park than the usual  practice location. For example some U6 and  U8 games will be played at Oconee Veteran?s Park (OVP).  Please  remember to review the field # and park location as well as the park abbreviation key  before heading out. If you need a map of the fields or directions to a park, you can  find that info  at  www.ocprd.com . Please call if you need further assistance in finding you team's game location.
Stevi Bs has made every Tuesday Rec Sports Night.  They informed us that  OCPRD athletes wearing their jersey will get to eat for .99 The restaurant will allow 1 child per adult buffet purchase.  This will be at the Athens location only which is located at 122 Alps Rd.
Thank you to all OCPRD volunteer coaches for  the efforts preparing the kids for games.
Have a great season!
