REG Aviation of Watkinsville flew Cox's flight to Stillwater, OK costing more than $6,000.00

The only thing that shocked me about this story is that Watkinsville is home to an airplane charter service, which is great for the local economy. I hope they have their business license. I might need to charter a flight sometime soon. Now if we can just get a runway in Oconee County.

Given all the health and travel circumstances involved, nothing seemingly was done wrong, but it might be cheaper to lease an aircraft next time around.
Sounds like we own an expensive craft and should be used as often as possible. I do not care if Jack Bauerle takes it hunting in Montana if he wants to. Give all the coaches access to to the airplane. There are always going to be extenuating traveling circumstances, and this was granddaddy of nightmares.

For logistics geeks like me, this is a fascinating story, especially since I used to work with Damon Evans and Frank Crumley back in the day in the Athletic Association. Cox's flight to Oklahoma cost over $6,000 | Football | OnlineAthens.com
