Pull the Plug on Paul Broun starting October 6

Pull the Plug is the name of the Political Action Committee designed to defeat Paul Broun. As of now there is only one candidate who they can work for against the 10th District Congressman, but at least it is someone. Are any Democrats going to announce against him ever?

 Pull the Plug

Pull the Plug PAC, an independent political action committee formed recently by local community organizers are sponsors of the town hall. The event is scheduled for 7 pm sharp and panelist will present and discuss President Obama's health insurance reform plan. Topics include the public option, universal coverage for children and seniors and the impact of health care reform on downtown business enterprises and their employees.

Afterwards, organizers will "Pull the Plug on Paul Broun Jr." with an after party in the Ciné Lab Space produced by local musician Timi Conley with featured band Electa Villian, a dj, filmster Rob Peterson, dancers and rhythmic social justice commentators.

THis has next to nothing to do with Oconee County with the possible exception of the location of his former office, but a former colleague of mine on the radio got popped today for four counts. James Whipple of Bogart bonded out on child porn, pot, and possession of a firearm during commission of crime charges

Sheriff Scott Berry announces the arrest of Ian James Whipple (23) of Jefferson Avenue in Bogart on one count of Computer Pornography (child pornography), one count of Violation of Georgia Controlled Substances Act, and one count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. Bond was set by the court at $50,000. Whipple has bonded out of jail. The arrest st ems from an investigation that began when the OCSO received information from the Athens Clarke County Police leading to the obtaining of a search warrant for Whipple's residence and computers. That warrant was executed on July 1st. Upon entering the residence, it was discovered that Whipple also was cultivating marijuana plants. Whipple was not at the residence at the time the warrant was executed. He was arrested on July 3rd when he was located by OCSO deputies.
