4 Oconee sites granted designation by NEGRDC

Many thanks to Watkinsville Mayor Joe Walter, Oconee County Chair G. Melvin Davis and Oconee County State Bank owner Amrey Hardin for voting to include Elder Mill Bridge and the neighboring Mill, the largely unused railroad line and the Apalachee River as regionally important sites by the Northeast Georgia Regional Development Commission Wednesday at the Holiday Inn in Athens.
