The Red Oak Tree-O will be performing Bluegrass Music this Saturday @ The Oconee Farmer's Market, come on out and enjoy a wonderful Saturday morning at the Eagle Tavern!
This week we will have homemade cakes and assorted homemade baked bread, including  Cinnamon Rolls, Granola & Biscotti. The Young Female Farmers will have Muffins as well as Fresh Pecan Pie and Chocolate Coca-Cola Cake. Sandra Bowden will have her wonderful variety of fresh pound cakes! There will also be locally harvested honey-Sourwood, Blackberry & Wildflower, as well as honey lip balm. Don't forget Joy's Gorgeous Gourds!! Amy Shane our resident "pie lady" will have Chocolate Chess Pie, Sweet Potato Pie, Fresh Apple & Fresh Peach Pie, Apple-Pecan Muffins and her famous Whoopie Pies!!
We will have fresh locally grown herbs, okra, peaches, apples, purple hull peas, bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, various sweet and hot peppers, figs and basil.
Sammy Hansford will have his famous fresh pork skins, fried or boiled peanuts and homemade beef and chicken jerky.
Hollowed Hawk Farms will have a few Shiitake mushrooms, fresh lamb as well as woolens from their local flock of sheep. They will be offering handmade soap made with sheep's milk as well.
Fresh made jams and jellies. Locally grown Scuppernongs.
Head of the Meadow Farms will be selling grass fed beef and possibly giving out samples.

*At 10am, 10 Signs & Gourmet's Jamie Swedberg will hold another of a weekly series of cooking demonstrations. They will also be serving and selling Cafe Campesino coffee, which is locally roasted in Georgia and is 100% organic, shade grown and fair trade. Come watch and sample the results.

So come on out and pick up some locally grown, fresh goodness.
