Subject: Christmas Parade

You missed an interesting session last night.  The meeting space was full of interesting posters.  Bob Burton told us all about the Battle of the Bulge and his experiences during the war and Albert Ward told about his experiences as a young man in the home guard and living in Watkinsville during WWII.
Come join us in the Watkinsville Chris tmas Parade.  Here are the latest details.

Christmas Parade Dec 3, 2011  Starting time is 11am  awaiting the position in parade and the time we should be there.
We are walking behind and alongside a beautifully restored 1911 Model T owned and driven by Wayne Raper of Conyers.

We will carry our banners from DAR and OHS and besides being dressed in period clothing, we can be carrying wreaths on arms, Chris tmas packages wrapped in period style, tin pails for handing out candy, lanterns that sort of thing as if we are going about our business preparing for the Chris tmas holiday.

I will be open at The Dress-Up Box on Hywy 186 just over the bridge and on the left.
