Since we are interested in the Watkinsville Cemetery and local history, I thought I'd pass this invitation on to you.
The T. R. R. Cobb Camp #97
Sons of Confederate Veterans
and
The Laura Rutherford Chapter #88
 United Daughters of the Confederacy
request the honor of your presence
on April 22, 2012 at
Confederate Memorial Day Observances in
Historic Watkinsville, Georgia.
A flagpole and marker dedication to all Oconee Confederate
Soldiers will begin at 2:00 p. m. in the Watkinsville Cemetery.

A memorial dedication for two civilians who died in a
Union prison will begin at 3:15 p.m. in front of Eagle Tavern.

A reception for all to enjoy will be held after the second ceremony.
