Subject: From the Director: OCPRD Select Youth Football Tryout Reminder and GRPA Youth Football All-Stars

Dear Youth Football Parents:
This is a reminder that OCPRD's exciting new Oconee Select Youth Football League will be conducting tryouts next Monday and Tuesday at 6:30pm.  Please check our Summer Brochure for additional information to include equipment hand out times located at http://ocprd.com/activityguide.pdf on page 7.  For players that will have a conflict with little league tournament games, please contact Trevor Ross tross@oconee.ga.us or 706-769-3965 for an alternate evaluation date.

Also, in addition to this new league, OCPRD Recreation and Select players will be considered for a combined Oconee County All Star football team that will be entered into the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association District and State Youth Football Championships.  Only youth football players competing in either recreation or select OCPRD leagues will be eligible for the all-star team so make sure you register with OCPRD to be eligible to represent Oconee County in this new endeavor.  Additional details on GRPA all-star play will be provide in the fall brochure published this summer.

All OCPRD youth football programs are administered by former college football players and high school coaches that are Certified Youth Sport Administrators.   We are excited about this new opportunity for youth football in Oconee County and look forward to seeing you on the gridiron!
