Hello Everyone:
I will make this as brief as possible: the campaign to elect Regina Quick needs your help. This is truly a matter of "People Power"! EVERYBODY VOTES ON JULY 31ST
Simply put, the more people who can and will give this campaign just a couple of hours AND your votes and get your neighbors to vote, the easier it will be for Regina Quick to defeat Doug McKillip. That SIMPLE!
WHAT WE NEED? YARD SIGNS!!
We must successfully reach as many folks as possible by email and yard signs to keep them informed and keep them passing the messages on to their friends and neighbors. We've got to blanket the district with yard signs. We don't have $5,000 a shot, as the opponent does, to spend on slick mailers funded by Atlanta politicians and Georgia Right to Life folks. BUT, we DO have lots of US, and US means VOTES!!
Please see the District Neighborhoods BELOW and choose what streets you are willing and able to cover in your neighborhood. Let me know as soon as possible if you can manage the distribution of 10, 15, 20 or more yard signs. I will get those yard signs delivered to you, but if you prefer, you can come by my back screen porch and pick up yard signs and bumper stickers at your convenience.
If you cannot distribute the yard signs, could you please give me names, emails and telephone numbers of folks that you know in your neighborhood whom we can contact. Also, if you know voters in district neighborhoods where you do not live - please give me leads on those folks too. The more folks I have, the less work for each person. If you're not comfortable sharing your friends' and neighbors' emails, then please forward THIS email to them.
Many of us especially in Five Points and Cobbham have been meticulously carved OUT of the district (by DOUG), but we shall still blanket highly trafficked, visible neighborhoods with yard signs. So whether you're IN or OUT of the District, yard signs will work. If you're not sure whether you're IN the district, email me your address and I'll check it for you.
WHAT ELSE WE NEED? Would you be willing to host a small after-work coffee reception where Gina will be available to meet-and-greet and speak about the major issues and her positions? It can be as short as an hour or so - not too much time, but hopefully valuable to voters. The campaign will reimburse you for any drinks and snacks. Call me as soon as possible if you can host a brief meet-and-greet in your neighborhood.
ARTICLES OF INTEREST ARE ATTACHED! Feel free to print all and share them with your neighbors, work mates and other friends who may not be familiar with the significance of this election.

Gina continues to receive great bi-partisan support, both financially and with hosted receptions in Athens and Atlanta and surrounding counties. More financial contributions are still needed - if you can contribute financially that too would be most welcome.

If you could commit to 1-2 hours of your time to distribute yard signs and/or share names and emails with us, or host a meet-and-greet coffee, you will have made a great contribution towards the work of defeating Doug McKillip.
