Greetings-
Please join us on Saturday for the Oconee Farmers Market in downtown Watkinsville.
This week our vendors will be bringing plenty of produce and other wonderful items including okra, tomatoes, butter beans, green beans, squash, peppers, cucumbers, eggplants, potatoes, dried shiitakes, scupperrnongs, watermelons, free range eggs, local wild flower and sourwood honey, GA pecan honey butter, melon-ginger and other jams and jellies. There will also be lamb, grass fed beef including beef stew samples, Berkshire pork, Cornish/Cross chicken, "Cake Lady" poundcakes, fresh breads including sprouted whole grains, pumpkin poundcake, vege. quiche, lemonade, kettle corn, boiled and fried peanuts, beef jerky and more.  We will also have multiple jewelry and craft artists.
Lee hopes to be there with vegetarian dog and cat treats but Hannah, the beagle, is on the loose on the Eastside. She is 12 years old and on medication so if you know her from the market and spot her between Cedar Creek and Green Acres please call Lee ASAP-706-338-7794.
Again this week we will be welcoming some new vendors as well as the nonprofit
Wives Behind The Badge, Saturday is National Tell A Police Officer "Thank You" Day.
Tre Powell will entertain us with his musical talents and as always-
COFFEE AND ICE WATER ARE FREE!
Hope to see you Saturday!
Cindy
