Obama For America

Dear Athens Democrats,

Less than 8 days until election day. All across Georgia, voters are getting involved and reaching out to their swing-state neighbors by volunteering. Their actions will make the difference on the night of November 6.

I first want to say thank you to the many volunteers that helped make our latest phone bank a huge success. It's so great to see so many locals getting involved in this campaign and truly making a difference. Three things:

1) Want to help, but don't know where to start? There is a solution - and you don't even have to get out of your chair. Simply go to dashboard.barackobama.com and log in. Click on "Make calls" from the drop-down menu. A script will automatically come up with instructions on how to contact swing state voters. By just spending 5 minutes a day doing this, you can help the President win back his job.

2) For those that want a little bit more, come to the office to volunteer in-person. We are open to walk-in volunteers at any time: Monday-Friday 10:00-7:00, and Saturday 10:00-4:00. Simply come in and say you want to help out, and we will handle the rest.

3) Or, if you are more comfortable in a group session, our next swing-state outreach session will be this coming Tuesday. Here are the details:

What: Swing-State Outreach

When: Tuesday October 30th, 7:00-9:00pm

Where: Athens Democratic HQ - 160 Tracy St., Athens, GA 30601

Looking forward to seeing you all there. Soon this election will be over - but first, let's make sure the right candidate wins.

Thanks for all you do,
Jake Moskowitz
