TONHS Bonfire Postponement Message from Mayor Beall

It's too damn cold and windy to be setting lit match to kindling outside, even on the shortest day of the year.
Be careful and warm around any Yule logs lit.

Hi,
Due to cold temperatures and high wind advisories, I feel it best to cancel this evening's Bonfire / Cookout.
Also, The GA Forestry Commission is not issuing burn permits today due to high winds.
Perhaps we can reschedule for sometime in the spring.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
-Mayor Mike Beall
