Happy New Year!

The book group sponsored by the Oconee Democrats has a rather
challenging list for 2013, but the books should be both interesting and
inspirational. As always, we've pulled together a combination of
classics ("Gulliver's Travels" and "Their Eyes Were Watching God") and
new books ("Drift: The Unmooring of American Military Power" and "The
New Jim Crow"). All of them have garnered strong praise from critics.

See the choices below and join us some evening!

We're meeting at a new location: the new Tlaloc restaurant in the Bell's
shopping center in Watkinsville.

We meet at 7 PM the last Wednesday of each month. Newcomers are always
welcomed, and you don't even have to be from Oconee -- or a Democrat.
We're a pretty diverse bunch.

Have a great year!
