Subject: UPDATE: Farmington house UNDER CONTRACT!

Figured I'd update folks…….after only a week on the market, I have a contract on my house!  I don't want to jinx my good luck, but I couldn't be more pleased.  Two competing offers were submitted on Saturday, and after a final deadline for "highest and best", I accepted an offer that was 5% above the list price.  A very fortunate scenario that I never dreamed possible.  So now I'm frantically looking for a new place!

Thanks everyone for all the comments I've received on Farmington.  It truly is a unique and beautiful home that I'm proud to have experienced.

And I especially want to thank Scott Nichols, my realtor.  He's been fantastic.  If you are ever selling or buying, this is the guy you want to use.

Keep your fingers crossed that the road is smooth from here until closing!

Tony

Hey all,

I'm putting my Farmington house up for sale.  If you know anyone that is in the market for an older home, pass this info along to them.  I love my beautiful home, but it's time to hand it off to someone else.  My plan is to move into Athens on the eastside, where I can be closer to work and establish a more centralized routine.

Video of the house:

Two MLS sites with info:

My agent is Scott Nichols (cell: 706-202-2232).

Thanks!
Tony
