Subject: Start a petition in Georgia?

Dear Georgia MoveOn member,
The biggest issues facing the state of Georgia are being debated right now in Atlanta. From jobs and the economy to education, guns, and the environment—these are all issues where state laws are every bit as important as national laws.
For progressives to make our voices heard on so many different issues, we need folks like you to take the lead on the issues you care about most. That's why MoveOn has opened up our petition tools to allow anyone to start your own online petition and share it with your friends.
If you take the lead by starting a petition and sharing it with your friends, we'll share tips on running a successful campaign and send the most popular petitions to other MoveOn members in the state.
In fact, if you get 20 signatures or more on a petition for a progressive cause, we'll share it with at least 1,000 people in your area to help it grow. But don't wait, because unlike Congress, the Georgia legislature only meets for a short time and will wrap up for the year in April
Thanks for all you to do.
–Steven, Jessica, Eric, Wes, and the rest of the team
