Greetings-
Please join us Saturday, April 27th in front of the Oconee County Courthouse for the
Oconee Farmers Market. This week closes a very successful first month-THANK YOU!
We will be hosting each 4th Saturday this season a Children's Activity with an Ag./Farm theme. Tomorrow children will have the opportunity to make paper seed pots and plant with tomato plugs donated by a vendor.
The offerings this week include:
Spring vegetables including lettuces, carrots, radishes, kale, turnips & greens, cabbage...
farm fresh eggs,
goat cheeses,
jams and jellies, honeyed peanut butters,
herbs-both cut and for you to plant, pepper, tomato and strawberry plants too,
dried and dehydrated Shiitaki mushrooms,
grass fed beef, pasture raised pork, fresh chicken,
pecans,
local wildflower honey, sour wood honey,
boiled and fried peanuts, gluten free granolas, kettle corn,
lemonade,
Organic whole wheat and whole wheat sourdough breads, spelt  breads, artisan and pita breads, bannana bread, bagels, english muffins, and more!
scones, sticky buns, cinnamon rolls, coffee cake,
whole and mini cakes, cupcakes, pies including Strawberry-Rhubarb,
cookies,
cake, bread and biscuit mixes in a jar,
gourd instruments and jewelry made from recycled and found objects,
birdhouses, squirrel feeders, blacksmith crafts,
vegetarian cat and dog treats and I can't even remember everything else!
Come out, maybe wear your rain shoes and bring a umbrella, have
FREE COFFEE AND ICE WATER and enjoy the music in beautiful downtown Watkinsville.
Don't forget our 4th Saturday Children's activity!
Hope to see you!
