Writers coming to OCAF Holiday Market Gift Shoppe

Four writers will be signing their books at OCAF's Holiday Market Gift Shoppe on Dec. 14 and Dec 21.  The shop will be steaming with hot cider and scented with sugar cookies, as three of the writers read and sign their books, from 11am until 1:30 pm on Dec. 14.  Another writer will be sharing poems and music on Dec. 21, 1-3pm.

Martha Phillips has her latest book Carved which is a sequel about a young teacher from Elberton.  This adventure leads her out of Elberton onto one of our favorite Golden Island, St. Simons, in search of clues for a kidnapping--of her best friend's child.  Martha will be reading at 12:15 pm.


Frances Ruffin will sign her book Famiglia which explores her Italian roots in a fictional setting.  Her protagonist is a  young mother searching for her Italian connections, complete with a trip to the old country.  You'll enjoy the tour as well as intimate trips through Memphis, TN.  Frances will be reading at 11:30 am.

 
Dac Crossley will be signing his western adventure book, Return of the Texas Ranger.  Dac grew up in Texas and shares his love of that large, historical state with fictional stories from mid 1800's. Dac will be reading at 1 pm.

 
Dana Wildsmith, a poet, will be reading from Christmas in Bethlehem and singing a few of her poems set to music with guitar accompaniment by Larry German.  She'll be reading/singing at 2pm.
