Falcons heads up tackle clinic in Watkinsville? Can you believe it? Ages 6-14 participate
The Atlanta Falcons will host a free youth football clinic for kids age 6-14 on Feb. 13 in Watkinsville.
The event will be held at Oconee Veterans Park, 3500 Hog Mountain Road, with an information session from 6:15-7:15 p.m. and a clinic from 6-8:30 p.m.
The non-contact clinic will focus on proper tackling technique along with other football and life skills based on USA Football's Heads Up Football Program.
The information session, led by former Falcons linebacker and USA Football Master Trainer Buddy Curry, will focus on proper equipment fitting, concussion awareness and tackling technique. Food will be provided for parents at the session.

Other clinics are tentatively planned in Augusta, Macon, Albany, Columbus and Savannah.
