Georgia studying ways to improve hoops attendance | Bulldogs Beat with Seth Emerson | Macon.com

There are many simple methods to improve attendance at the Stegeman Coliseum for UGA home games. I would begin with eliminating permanently admission prices for all students, not just University of Georgia students. Secondly, and no one has ever been able to tell me why there is such a huge difference in price, make the season tickets for men's and women's hoops exactly the same. Third, never have late start tip off times except maybe road games. Fourth, get better half time performers, like local musicians such as Randall or Isaac Bramblett, John Berry, and others appropriate for all ages. Fifth, improve the food in the concession stands, and don't have BBQ at one, chicken at the other, and pretzels at the third. Hire a chef. Have more choices. Fifth, have some better non-conference early season games against interesting opponents: Iowa, Drake, UNI, Grinnell, Colorado State, Wyoming, Indiana, Mercer and Duke would be on the top of my schedule requests.
