The Pastures of Rose Creek

Happy Friday Everyone! Here's the latest from the farm...

Upcoming Farm Tours

Are you curious about where your food comes from? Well… we think you should be. The Pastures of Rose Creek will be hosting farm tours on Sunday's towards the end of spring.  So come out and see our Egg Mobile, all our grass-fed cows in rotational grazing and our flourishing garden. Who knows? If you're lucky, you may meet one of the farm celebrities like Al and Ug, the bulls, or Marshall and Sterling, the roosters.

Also, we will be offering, "pick your own produce" days. Honestly, what could be cooler than sitting around the dinner table, telling your friends and family that you picked the very veggies they are eating! Stay tuned for more information on that in the weeks to come…

Farmer's Markets

Are you having family over in the coming week for Easter? We suggest you stock up on produce, eggs and beef for those big family meals!
  • Athens Farmer's Market - We will be at Bishop Park from 8am to 12pm. We will have our Piedmontese grass-fed beef and fresh eggs for sale! Come by early before we run out!
  • Oconee Farmer's Market -  We'll be Downtown Watkinsville by the Court House from 8am to 1pm. We will be selling our Piedmontese grass-fed beef and fresh eggs! And of course fresh-cut greens and radishes!
  • Downtown Athen's Farmer's Market - On Wednesday, we will be Downtown Athens by City Hall from 4pm to 7pm! If you missed getting eggs over the weekend, swing by and we should have a fresh supply!

Brisket!

Our farm chef, Matt Savage came up with a Brisket recipe for the family. We liked it so much, we thought that we would share it with you all!

This week we are selling our Briskets for 25% off at the Saturday Farmer's Markets!
