Bishop art gallery opens Saturday

Long Road Studios, a collective group of clay artists, will have a
grand opening of their new permanent gallery at 4860 Macon Highway,
Bishop, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.



The event features live music, food by Rooter’s BarBQ, complimentary
drinks and desserts, and games.



The gallery features pottery and clay sculptures by Long Road artists Jorie Berman, Laura Cooper, Juana Gnecco, Nancy Green, Kendall Steele, Melanie Sgrignoli and Caryn van
Wagtendonk. Also available will be beer ware by Red Wolf Growlers, textiles by Sarah Parker, handcrafted soaps by Lisa Pickett and jewelry
by Jim Norton.
