Georgia Democratic Senate nominee Michelle Nunn at Little Kings in Athens, Georgia

Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate from Georgia Michelle Nunn came an addressed a packed house at the Little Kings Shuffle Club in Athens, Georgia at noon today.

She talked about strategy to defeat newly minted GOP nominee David Perdue in the brief address.

Nunn talked about her father after a question from Dean Rusk's son Rich Rusk. She thanked her father for some advice and appreciated his input.

Nunn mentioned an email from Hank Aaron going out asking for donations of $7.55 this morning in a money bomb strategy showing how she had hit the ground running.

I also received a plea from Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio.

Considering the quick time for organizing the event, the room was very well packed for a noontime gathering in Athens.

Among the current or former elected officials in attendance at the event were Melissa Link, Mayor Nancy Denson, Cardee Kilpatrick and 10th District congressional candidate Ken Dious.
