The Oconee County Sheriff's Office keeps writing comedy gold on Facebook

We've been getting a lot of questions concerning traffic signals and road signs and the like lately.
Local roads in the county are under the Road Department and the Board of Commissioners.
State highways are under the control of the Georgia Department of Transportation. We suggest that your State Representatives Chuck Williams and Regina Quick would be good contacts for your questions and concerns regarding state highways.
Your Sheriff's Office has no control over signage, traffic signals, speed bumps, speed limits. If we start telling the Road Department or GDOT how to handle the roads, they might start trying to telling us how to run the jail...
