Farm News Will took 3 cows to process this past Sunday, so should have our freezers restocked with all of your favorite cuts in time for UGA vs. Clemson! Featured Cut This week's featured cut is the Sirloin steak. The sirloin is a boneless, versatile steak that comes from the back mid-section of the animal, called - you guessed it -  the loin. The sirloin, while naturally lean, lacks nothing in flavor. When you purchase this cut, your dinner options are endless. The Ninja of beef cuts -  it can be tossed on the grill, made into kebabs, or used in a stir fry or soup.   Where to find us... Athens Farmer's Market - Come see us at Bishop Park from 8am to 12pm. We will have our wonderful Piedmontese grass-fed beef fresh as well as our free-range eggs for sale!  Oconee Farmer's Market -  Find us in Downtown Watkinsville by the Court House from 8am to 1pm. Our Piedmontese grass-fed beef and free-range eggs will be for sale! Also, we'll have beets,  peppers, cucumbers, and pears! Wednesday Athen's Farmer's Market - We'll be at the parking lot next to Creature Comforts Brewing Company, 271 W Handcock Avenue, from 4pm - 7pm! We'll have eggs and grass-fed beef! Sunday Farm Stand - Come by the farm stand 2pm to 4pm on Sundays and get some fresh produce and beef! We are at 1051 Rose Creek Drive, Watkinsville! Be on the look out for the signs on Colham Ferry Road!   Sunday Gold Club   This week at the farm stand we are offering a free herb bouquet of rosemary, basil, and mint with the purchase of any beef cut over $10! For the new subscribers - Our Gold Club is a Sunday Farm Stand discount that we offer to our Newsletter subscribers! Our farm stand is located at 1051 Rose Creek Drive, Watkinsville, GA and will be open from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday. Look for the signs on Colham Ferry!
