Vote like your future depends on it. Because it does.
From: "Raven Bennett, Ken Dious for Congress 10th District"Vote like your future depends on it. Because it does.
If the future is important to you, then the 10th Congressional election matters more than you think.
I'm writing you to let you know about Attorney Ken Dious, the Democratic Nominee for U.S. Congress in the 10th District. In his forty years practicing law, Ken has traveled and served the people throughout this area and is familiar with their issues and concerns. Ken's life work as an attorney, businessman and community leader has well prepared him for the challenges of leading the 10th District.
Ken faces an uphill battle on November 4th against his opponent, Jody Hice. Who is Jody Hice? Let him tell you for himself. If elected, Mr. Hice will potentially disenfranchise many voters and could potentially set the district back 60 years with his extremely inflammatory remarks against women's rights, race, religion and sexual orientation. Not only will Mr. Hice be fully ineffectual in congress when it comes to policy making, he will fail to attract desperately needed industry and economic development because companies will not want to be affiliated with him. Georgia has a rich and growing biomedical and manufacturing base that needs to be promoted. Mr. Hice continues to be a national embarassment to Georgia . Without a strong contest, Jody Hice will win.
America is a remarkable place. It's a place where we can express ourselves without the fear of our government. It's a place where our sons and our daughters can grow up to pursue the lives they want. It's a place where everyone is valued and everyone is protected under the law. These are not black values or white values. These are not democratic values or republican values. These are American values.
Now is the time we need to stand up and protect our country from fanatics on both sides of the political aisle. There's a job to do and we need to send people that can get that job done. The opposition is counting on voters in an off election year to stay home and not vote; but remember this is how we arrived where we are now. Not voting is not the answer. We do not have to concede our vote.
Ken is committed to taking a rational and conservative approach to finding common ground with Democrats and Republicans; creating workable solutions to the many problems we face, both locally and nationally, instead of engaging in partisan divisiveness. We can win this election if we educate, share and participate. Please forward and share this email with your friends, families and colleagues. Elect Ken Dious on Tuesday, November 4th.For a more in-depth explanation of Ken's positions on the issues, please visit his website at www.diousforcongress.com.Sincerely,Raven BennettCampaign Director, Ken Dious, U.S. Congress, 10th DistrictOffice: 706.546.9013Mobile 706. 338.1307
