Good effort

Thanks for your support.  The Watkinsville voters have evidently returned Mike Link to office. I appreciate your votes. I think the liquor referendum did not help me too much. I hope that my opponent will at least consider the merits of the future business applicants before voting against them on religious or moral believes for the good of Watkinsville.  It was a great race and I am glad I ran regardless of the outcome. 389-157 losing 1 of 2 precincts.

The Watkinsville City Cemetery is an oasis amidst the houses on the east side of the municipality, near the neighborhood once called Sidney. There is a large section of the cemetery that remains a mystery, but perhaps we can work together to dignify the eternal resting spot somewhat better than the current neglected and forgotten (not to mention unmarked) graves of 70 people, more than likely of African-American descent. They deserve to be honored as well. An effort has been undertaken to repair the graves with fill dirt to stop the continued erosion amongst the graves. The most recent grave and bench belong to Larry Sheats,  and as any one who played basketball at Herman C. Osborne dug his own hole deeper with this comment swiped from the Athens Banner-Herald's comment section

There is no way of knowing with absolute certainty if this is indeed the comment swiped from the article of the Athens Banner-Herald newspaper yesterday of evidently now former North Oconee principal John Osborne or not, but home slice needs to learn from Bill Hamby and Rick Pitino as when to shut the fuck up: I have never in my life posted a to a blog, vent site or sent an editorial, but obviously there are lots of misperceptions out there.
