The Pastures of Rose Creek

Will it ever stop raining? Hopefully... When the fields stay sloppy, it can cause all kinds of foot problems for the cows. We have to keep a careful eye on the cows to see if they are favoring any of their hooves or showing any sign of limping in order to keep them healthy and going! If there are any problems, we get the cow to the working facility and care for them as needed!

By the start of the market season, we will switch over to having our website section "How to find Us" be the guide to which markets we will be at and if there are any specials! This means we will be scaling back to monthly emails instead of weekly.

Where to find us during the off season...

  • Athens Locally Grown - Order our beef online at http://athens.locallygrown.net/ starting Sunday evening thru Tuesday at 8 pm. Pickup is Thursday from 4:30 to 8pm at Ben's Bikes (670 W. Broad Street)!
  • Sunday Farm Stand - Come by the farm stand 2pm to 4pm on Sundays and get some fresh eggs and delicious beef - plus pork! We are at 1051 Rose Creek Drive, Watkinsville! Be on the look out for the signs on Colham Ferry Road!
