Chuck Williams has no business complaining about BOC staff comments yet alone policy

OK, first things first, I ran against Chuck Williams for the State House of Representatives in 2011. That does not give me any official platform to criticize Mr. Williams, any member of his family, or how he conducts his business or makes any comments to media. That much being said, Mr. Williams should resign his seat in Georgia House of Representatives immediately and apply/run for a slot on the Oconee County Board of Commissioners or the staff if he wishes to control the comments coming out of Emil Bashara or any other member of the Oconee County government. Mr. Williams simply has no standing to control or direct any facet of the county government, and the directive from County Administrator Jeff Benko for all staff to clear any comments to the media through him is highly impractical, near impossible to police, and completely unjustified given the pout and hissy fit thrown by Representative Williams over a potential fly-over the 10 Loop By-Pass.

Chuck, you need to get a thicker skin if you serve in public office. Toughen up, Representative Williams, and leave Oconee County governmental policy to those who are elected to do so, and quit meddling in an area where you have no business or legal authority to dictate policy.
