Photos from Oconee County Jail paperback book donation by Oconee County Democratic Committee members

Sincerely,
Dan Matthews

The attached photos were taken this afternoon around 1 p.m. when we took the last of the books from the book drive to replenish the Oconee County Jail Library. Sheriff Berry and Officer Amber Shelnutt greeted us and showed us the library. I'm guessing that around 1000 books were collected. Officer Shelnutt had them beautifully arranged on carts and in cases according to category. I think I speak for Oconee County Democrats and people in the Sheriff's Office in saying this project would be classified a win-win endeavor. I don't think it created an enormous burden for any one individual, but working together as a great team it can be labeled a big success. Thanks everyone, Margaret
