Iconic Iron Horse's hooves eaten by rust, but will be repaired
Even though it is technically in Greene County by a couple hundred feet, this Abbott Pattison sculpture "Pegasus Without Wings" remains evocative and the subject of continued pranks and repairs decades after it moved from the University to the start of the sandy loam soil south of town on Highway 15. Now it is suffering from rusty hoof disease.
