Exhibit opening reception: “Oil Compass” by Greg Benson: 6 p.m. to 9
p.m. Friday, Farmington Train Depot, 1001 Salem Road, Farmington. Greg
Benson’s show features eight paintings that comprise a 360-degree
panorama pf a particular place at a particular moment. The paintings
manage to edit unnecessary clutter, like cars, strip malls, painters,
and churches. What’s left is a series of windows opening to a majestic,
late-winter morning. Exhibit open through April 30.
