Search underway for two missing teens in Oconee County

A search was continuing Friday for two teenagers reported missing Wednesday after they left Oconee County High School.

Authorities are asking for any information on the whereabouts of
Olivia Ogletree, 14, and Jordan Amos, 16, who left on their own accord.
They apparently left on foot in the direction of U.S. Highway 78 and
were carrying camping equipment, lawmen said.

The search is being conducted jointly by the Watkinsville Police
Department and Oconee County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone with information
can call the sheriff’s office at (706) 769-5665 or police at (706
769-2100. The two investigators can be reached by private e-mail: Inv.
James Hale, jhale@oconeesheriff.org, and Sgt. Will Horton, whorton@cityofwatkinsville.com.
