Barack Obama staffer ordered to stay in the state to help us with the Martin Runoff

Carl and Elaine were biking by my house yesterday and I gave him my last Jim Martin for US Senate yard sign. We swapped stories about yard signs, chalk art and assorted post-election bliss. It is good to know that Barack Obama for President staff Natasha Patel is staying here in Georgia on orders from the National Office to help us organize and remove Saxby Chambliss from office and put Jim Martin in the US Senate.

All,
Just in from Natasha - see her message below.

It's time for Chamblis to go! Let's do what needs to be done to win Georgia's U.S. Senate post for Martin so we can help President-Elect Obama with his new job!

Hi Everyone,

I'm gearing up for the Martin run-off. I wanted to give you an update about
the Martin-Chambliss runoff. I don't have too much information, except for
the following:

1. I'm staying to work on it. I haven't been assigned a specific role
or
region yet.

2. A very large number of Campaign for Change Organizers from the other
battleground states are coming into Georgia asap to work as volunteer
organizers.

3. I don't have much more information other than that.

I do need to secure housing for the organizers and need to know if anyone
can provide housing or knows of someone who can (regardless of where). If
so, please email me with Name, address, and phone number. These organizers
will start to come in today and tomorrow.

I'll keep you posted about the plan as soon as I receive more information.

Until then. Go Martin!

-Natasha
